Hongta Group Launches Ninth Round of Equal Negotiation of Collective Contract and Renews Contract

On November 5, Hongta Group held the ninth round of equal negotiation of the Collective Contract and the Renewal Ceremony at the "Yuxi Hall" at the headquarters.

Those who attended the event included Wang Yong, Chief Representative of the management and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Zhu Xiongwei, Chief Representative of staff and Chairman of the Labor Union of the group. Besides, each party had 13 representatives attending the conference. In addition, members of the Leading Group of the Collective Contract, Head of the Staff Delegation, the group's legal adviser and other relevant personnel participated in the event, while relevant people of Chuxiong, Dali and Zhaotong cigarette factories attended the meeting via video.

The conference was presided over by Cao Hang, Secretary of the Committee for Discipline Inspection of the group.

Zhu Xiongwei, Chairman of the group's Labor Union, reported the implementation and practice of the eighth round of the Collective Contract. In the report, he expressed that the collective contract system is an important mechanism to safeguard the legal rights and interests of the enterprise and its employees and plays a significant role in building harmonious labor relations in the enterprise and promoting the enterprise and employees to seek an equal, mutually beneficial and shared development.  Over the past three years, Hongta Group's eighth round of the Collective Contract and the Special Collective Contract for Protection of Special Rights and Interests of Women Workers have been accurate in positioning, complete and precise in content, and also well and effectively operated and implemented, practically protecting the legal rights and interests of the enterprise and its employees, playing an important role in building harmonious labor relations in the enterprise, promoting the harmonious, stable and sound development of the group and laying a good foundation for renewal and implementation of the ninth round of the Collective Contract and the Special Collective Contract for Protection of Special Rights and Interests of Women Workers.

At the conference, Li Honglin, Vice Chairman of the group's Labor Union, introduced the modification of the ninth round of the Collective Contract (Draft) and the Special Collective Contract for Protection of Special Rights and Interests of Women Workers (Draft). In accordance with relevant procedures and legal requirements, negotiators of both parties conducted equal and legal negotiations on the terms and clauses of the ninth round of the Collective Contract (Draft), including labor reward, working time, rest and vacation, work safety and health, insurance and benefits, vocational training and protection of women workers' rights and interests, and also on the contents of the Collective Contract (Draft) and the Special Collective Contract for Protection of Special Rights and Interests of Women Workers (Draft). Later, negotiators of both parties and the Head of the Staff Delegation voted for the two contract drafts. On the basis that both sides reached an agreement and objective, the newly revised ninth round of the Collective Contract and the Special Collective Contract for Protection of Special Rights and Interests of Women Workers were unanimously voted.

Wang Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group, made a conclusion that the eighth round of the Collective Contract had played a positive role in the group's harmonious and stable development. For three years, both sides have actively performed duties and obligations in the contract and effectively implemented the contract in all aspects. On the one hand, the company has fully exerted the guarantee role of the system, strictly put into practice the group-factory workers' congress system and the system of "five insurances, one housing fund and one enterprise annuity", deeply promoted the integration of open and democratic management and business, attached high importance to strengthening protection and management of workers' safety and educational training, kept improving workers' skill and quality, gathered forces to help employees in difficulties, practically protected special rights and interests of women workers and also further enhanced the comprehensive guarantee in employees' benefits, skill and quality, self rights and interests, etc. On the other hand, employees have enhanced their legal awareness, sense of duty and overall consciousness. In particular at brand merchandising, employees have made spare no efforts and perfectly finished all requirements and tasks arranged by the group, and also expressed the Hongta Spirit through their actions and shown the responsibilities what Hongta people should have.

Wang Yong said, over the past three years, under the joint efforts of the company and all employees, no labor dispute and mass incident took place in the group, creating a harmonious and stable environment to deeply boost the company's reform and development. The ninth round of the Collective Contract is of great importance to advance the company's harmonious and stable development. The ninth round of the Collective Contract is to further improve the group's labor-capital relationship; is a significant move to protect employees' legal rights and interests and promote corporate and social stability; is an intrinsic demand for governing the country in accordance with law, managing the company according to laws and seeking company's development, and also an object requirement to protect, mobilize and exert employees' enthusiasm and complete the company's reform and development tasks. He required that both sides must maintain the contract, strictly follow the contract, seriously implement the contents and jointly protect the legal rights and interests of both parties to further boost the sustainable and sound development of the company.
