Hongta Group Holds the Research, Production and Marketing Work Conference for the First Half of the Year

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of Notice of China Tobacco (Yunnan) on Further Clarifying the Main Body of Responsibility for Research, Production and Marketing, Hongta Group held a work conference on research, production and marketing for the first half of the year from July 18 to 19. The conference carefully studied the spirit of Notice of China Tobacco (Yunnan) on Further Clarifying the Main Body of Responsibility for Research, Production and Marketing, summarized the research, production and marketing work of Hongta Group for the first half of the year, and arranged the target and tasks for the next stage. The conference required that under the "One Company, Two Groups" system, China Tobacco (Yunnan) shall firmly set up the thought of "One Game of Chess", proceed with firm confidence, clear objectives and service marketing, doing a solid and thorough job in merchandising, marketing, brand promotion and so on, fighting the tough battle for the group's brand development with all efforts, and striving to support the revival of the cigarette brand of Yunnan.

Party Member and Deputy General Manager of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd, Party Secretary and President of Hongta Group Wang Yong, Vice President Ge Fuming, Yang Yuwen and Zhu Xuecheng, and Chairman of the Labor Union Zhu Xiongwei attended the conference. Wang Yong presided over the conference.  

During the conference, Wang Yong conveyed the spirit of Notice of China Tobacco (Yunnan) on Further Clarifying the Main Body of Responsibility for Research, Production and Marketing and gave a thorough interpretation of the whole text on clarifying the 5 liability subjects including brand, marketing, market development, brand development and production management. 

He stressed that we shall thoroughly understand and solidly implement the spirit of Notice of China Tobacco (Yunnan) on Further Clarifying the Main Body of Responsibility for Research, Production and Marketing, try our best to serve the marketing and technical center, seriously do a good job in merchandising, improve the stance and grasp the orientation. We shall also keep up with all the decisions and arrangements determined by China Tobacco (Yunnan) consciously, vigorously promote and implement the "Five Spirits" of China Tobacco (Yunnan), to improve the work style, work efficiency and the level of work, and unify the thought and action pace, condensing into a powerful force, promoting the high-quality development of group brand and providing strong support for the revival of the cigarette brand of Yunnan. 

Wang Yong put forward three requirements aiming at the tasks for the next stage:

First, we shall unify our thinking, strengthen our confidence, and base ourselves on the long term to ensure the brand status. As the owner of the brand, the whole staff of Hongta Group shall put the theory of "Raise His Own Child and Love His Own Brand" into practical actions, serve the marketing work actively and do a good job in merchandising. Confidence is more important than gold. Over the last year, we have taken "Yuxi (Original Aspiration)" series of products as a breakthrough to realize the stability of "Yuxi" brand. With the joint efforts of the whole staff in the first half of this year, the group brand continued to show a steady and sound development momentum, which further strengthened our confidence in development. The next step is to focus on quickly responding to the changing trend of cigarette consumption demand, grasp the first-hand information of the market in time, understand the market dynamics and changes accurately, and formulate specific and feasible measures and methods. We shall adhere to the principle of "Status First", "Price Followed by Quantity" and "Elastic Balance" in the market, and do a good job in merchandising. We shall also actively participate in brand planning, brand culture construction, brand promotion and so on according to the requirements of China Tobacco (Yunnan), and do a good job in the market cultivation and consolidation of "Yuxi (Original Aspiration)" series of products unswervingly, and the marketing and promotion of new products such as "Hongtashan (New Era)" and "Hongtashan (New Legends)" earnestly. 

Second, we shall make solid efforts in production and manufacturing, cost control, quality assurance, investment and technical reform, raw and auxiliary materials support, internal management and production safety. As the main body responsible for production management, Hongta Group shall further optimize the factors such as product specifications, production plan, equipment capacity, process quality, raw and auxiliary materials, logistics support, and workforce, so as to improve the manufacturing level of flexibility, intelligence, and homogenization. 

Third, we shall vigorously promote the ownership spirit of "The Rise and Fall of Hongta is All My Responsibility". From members of the group's leadership, management officials at all levels shall take the lead to set an example, taking the initiative to bear, to take responsibility and to act, making efforts in innovation and hardworking and setting up the clear guidance of consequentialism and action theory. Those officials and employees who dare to take on responsibilities shall be encouraged, the mechanisms of official assessment, employment selection, and excellent selection shall be improved constantly, and the reform of distribution system shall be deepened to encourage officials and workers to take on responsibilities and make achievements, and give opportunities to those staff who want to do things, dare to do things, and can do things. 

Yang Yuwen made a concluding speech. He put forward three requirements; one is to correctly understand the current situation. We shall unify our thinking, strengthen our confidence and make clear our goals. Meanwhile, all units and departments shall convey the spirit of the conference timely and accurately, understanding the spirit of Notice of China Tobacco (Yunnan) on Further Clarifying the Main Body of Responsibility for Research, Production and Marketing thoroughly, embodying the spirit and putting it into the actual work. Second is to summarize, refine, innovate and improve our work, and continue to support merchandising. We shall cultivate carefully, focus on our goals, make breakthroughs one by one, make progress cumulatively and stay focused and persistent to serve the marketing work well, and do a good job in the merchandising of "Yuxi (Original Aspiration)" series of products and other Hongta cigarette brands. Third is to work steadily, conscientiously implement the work in the second half of the year, and earnestly ensure product quality and production safety. 

The conference reported the current sales situation of the group's brand market, carried out a special analysis on the market status of "Yuxi (Original Aspiration)" series of products, and made arrangements for the market access and promotion work of "Hongtashan (New Era)" and "Hongtashan (New Legends)". The responsible people of the four factories and logistics center of the province reported on the implementation of merchandising work of the respective jurisdiction in the first half of the year. And they all said that they would quickly convey the spirit of the conference timely and accurately to each worker, fight hard for the brand with firm confidence and composure, improve their stance, continue to do a good job in merchandising, and earnestly conduct all the work including production organization, quality assurance, production safety, internal management and so on. 

A total of more than 100 people attended the conference, including members of the management team of the four factories in the province, management officials above the vice-ministerial level of all departments, offices and centers of the Group, members of the research, production and marketing office of the Group, responsible people of the research, production and marketing office of all factories, leaders of the merchandising team stationed in provinces, cities and districts, and leaders of the merchandising team stationed in cities of Yunnan Province.
